As an entity of the YKK Corporation, YKK Fastening Indonesia Group (FIG) was established in 1972.
Founded in 1934 by Tadao Yoshida, YKK Corporation began as a slide fastener trading company called San-S Shokai. YKK itself stands for Yoshida Kogyo Kabushiki Kaisha.
YKK now operates in more than 132 affiliated companies in more than 60 countries, representing 672 plants and offices, and expands it business into new fields.
YKK Fastening Products global operations are distributed across 8 region; North America, South America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, East Asia, South East Asia, South Asia, Oceania and Japan. This enables us to integrate local characteristics into our business activities and allows marketing to be conducted more efficiently.
YKK Fastening Indonesia Group is a part of South East Asia operations. Manufactured to rigorous quality-control standards within a vertically integrated production system, YKK's products have earned us reputation of a global market leader.
